Sun Cured Country Tobacco ( Kurnool & Telengana) is grown on heavy Black Clay soils in the Kurnool and Telengana (Mahaboobnagar and Nalgonda districts) of Andhra Pradesh. This variety is mainly used for cigarette manufacturing and has an export market to Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Plantation of this kind of crop happens in Mid-August - 1st week of September. Winter Crop happens in Mid-September to Mid-November. Marketing
